Consistent with the requirements of Title IX and to ensure its compliance with Wisconsin law (§ 36.12 and § 111.321), the University of Wisconsin-Madison has adopted a Statement of Non-Discrimination that, in part, prohibits acts of sex discrimination in University programs and activities.
In addition, the University has the following policies in place that prohibit sexual harassment:
- Prohibited Harassment Policy (applies to University Faculty and Academic Staff)
- Sexual Harassment Policy for University Staff Employees
- The University also adheres to the Sexual Harassment Policy Statement articulated in Board of Regents Policy 14-2
