Julie Laundrie is the Public Records Custodian for the University of Wisconsin Madison. Before joining the University in 2024, Julie served as the Public Records Custodian at the City of Madison Police Department where she led a high-volume unit responding to requests for police investigative reports, data, and personnel records.

Julie earned her BS in Public Administration from UW-Green Bay and has a graduate certificate from Edgewood College in Urban and Rural Economic Development. For most of her earlier career, Julie worked for a Wisconsin State Senator leading communications and staffing a variety of Legislative Committees, including budget cycles of the Joint Committee on Finance.
