Lindsey Peterson serves at the Deputy Civil Rights and Title IX Coordinator for Youth Programs. Prior to joining the Office of Compliance, Lindsey worked for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health on several research and outreach projects surrounding behavioral health, mental health and substance use disorders, addiction medicine and primary care. Additionally, she was Program Director for a project aimed at identifying fetal alcohol spectrum disorders in the youth justice system in Wisconsin.

Lindsey received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Psychology and Women’s Studies. After graduating, she received her Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Rehabilitation Psychology, and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. She also holds certificates in Trauma Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and Victim Advocacy from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
